Baby on Board Invitations
I created these cute, simple invitations on Canva and just had them printed at a local print shop! Such a great idea if you don’t want to spend a ton of money on an invitation! I just bought these cute, green envelopes to put them in!
Baby on Board Table Decor
One of the biggest hits at my shower was a “Decorate a Block for Baby” activity. I ordered these “Help Us Build Memories — Decorate a Block for Baby! Write a message, decorate the block, and sign your name.”
I framed the sign in this frame here, and placed cute colorful sharpies on the table for guests to use. This was such a fun and meaningful activity that also doubled as cute table decor!
Another special touch was a family traditions basket. I printed out cards where guests could write down their favorite family traditions to pass down to baby. We placed a basket nearby for guests to drop their completed cards into — it made such a sweet keepsake!
I saw this adorable baby clothesline idea on Pinterest and knew I had to recreate it for my baby on board baby shower! We hung a line of neutral baby onesies and little outfits that matched my beachy color scheme. Not only did this make a cute backdrop, but it also gave everyone a peek at baby’s cute clothes!
One of the biggest focal points was the arch backdrop we made ourselves — and it was way easier than I expected! My husband and I bought foam boards from Home Depot! We cut them into an arch shape with a knife, and painted them in this beautiful green color!
We attached a balloon garland to the boards. Pro tip: use high-quality balloons if your shower is outside — cheaper ones pop easily in the sun! I learned how to do this by watching DIY balloon garland tutorials on TikTok. It made the perfect photo spot for guests!
Baby on Board Baby Shower Food Ideas
I wanted to keep food simple, so we opted for a catered charcuterie board. It looked stunning, fit the beachy vibe, and gave guests lots of options to snack on throughout the shower.
For dessert, we went with cupcakes (easy and who doesn’t love cupcakes?!). We added these adorable “Baby on Board” themed cupcake toppers to tie into the surf theme.
